However, that's all changed now due to the impact of Everything That's Going On Right Now.Legacies is just one of many shows that's suffered a delay in production, and this has therefore pushed back the end of season two indefinitely.
This means it's now unlikely that season three will air like usual in the fall. In fact, new episodes might not return to our screens until early 2021. We completed through episode 216 for now. Hopefully, this doesn't mean that the rest of season two will be scrapped completely. If that does happen, then it seems likely that any plotlines that were already planned will just be shifted into a new run of episodes in season three instead. Legacies season 3 plot: What will happen?
